Using Peeps and your imagination, create a scene inspired by one of your favorite books, characters, or community-themed stories! See below for details.

Spring has sprung, and that means that Peeps are back!

  • The diorama should be the size of a shoe box.
  • Submit your diorama to the Rapid City Public Library between Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 23.
  • Fill out the submission sheet on the back of the Peeps flyer (you can get one at the library!). Include your name, the title of your diorama, and your phone number so that we can contact you if you win!
  • Dioramas will be displayed on the landing of the stairs throughout the month of April. Pictures of the dioramas will be posted to our Facebook page from April 24 - 28. Voting is open to the community at this time for the Peeple’s Choice Award prize, which will be determined by the picture that gets the most likes!
  • 3 winners will be announced and contacted on Monday, May 1, and will win a $15 gift card to Mary's Mountain Cookies!

We don’t want you to have to go to the grocery store just for Peeps, you can pick up a free pack with your books at the library or create some of your own out of paper, pom-poms, pipe-cleaners, and any other crafty material at home!
