It's back! The 6th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest goes virtual this year. Create a shoebox diorama with Peeps and you could win prizes! See below for rules and details.
Spring has sprung, and that means that Peeps are back!
Using Peeps* and your imagination, create a scene from one of your favorite books, favorite authors, or favorite animal stories! Think Beauty and the Peeps or The Jungle Peeps or Edgar Allen Peep.
·The diorama should be the size of a shoe box.
·Submit your diorama by posting a picture of it to the ‘Rapid City Public Library’s 6th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest’ event page on Facebook between Thursday, April 1st and Saturday, April 17th.
·You should submit your name and the title of your diorama with the picture of your diorama. If your diorama wins, we will contact you through the Facebook account that you posted your diorama from.
·Dioramas will be displayed on the library’s Facebook page from Monday, April 19th- Friday, April 23rd. Voting is open to the public at this time for the Peeple’s Choice Award prize, which will be determined by the number of likes each diorama gets.
·3 winners will be chosen on Monday, April 26th: a winner of the Peeple’s Choice, a winner of the library’s choice, and a winner for best animal themed diorama.
Winners will be announced on Monday, April 26th on the Rapid City Public Library’s Facebook page, and will each receive a $15 gift card to Eileen's Colossal Cookies!

*We don’t want you to have to go to the grocery store just for Peeps, so come and pick up a free pack with your books at the library or create some of your own out of paper, pom-poms, pipe-cleaners, and any other crafty material at home!
