On the 80th observance of the Hiroshima bombings, join us to honor the story of Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who folded 1,000 cranes with a wish for peace.

In partnership with the Rapid City Sister City Partnership Association, participants will learn about our Japanese sister city, Nikko, and take part in folding origami cranes and creating crane mobiles to celebrate peace, remembrance, and cultural connection.
