Pick up a contest form at the library or download it HERE and draw your dream bookmobile on the bookmark. Turn in your bookmark by Sunday, April 21 at the library, by email, or message it to us on Facebook or Instagram.

The winner will have their bookmark printed and given out at the library and bookmobile and, will also receive a LEGO Classic Building Kit!

Bookmobile Stop Request

The Rapid City Public Library bookmobile will be launching in 2024 and we would like your input!

The bookmobile is a mobile branch that provides many of the services enjoyed at our downtown location. Organizations may use the form below to suggest a recurring stop on the bookmobile’s route.*

To be considered, stops must provide:

  • public access
  • public parking
  • restrooms available for staff use
  • adequate space for the bookmobile to park and maneuver (Bookmobile Dimensions: 30 ft long x 10 ft wide x 12 ft high)
*Suggesting a bookmobile stop does not guarantee that the library will be able to add the location to our schedule.
